Media & Technology Support Services is pleased to offer a laptop loan program to both TCNJ faculty and staff
Who can borrow a laptop?
- Laptops are loaned to current TCNJ faculty and staff on a reserved basis.
- You must have your valid TCNJ ID card when borrowing a laptop.
How can I reserve a laptop in advance?
- Visit our website at www.tcnj.edu/~mtss
- Log in to Webcheckout and select either Laptop or Long term laptop request.
What kind of laptop?
Available laptops are either the Dell Latitude series and or Apple Mac Book Pro’s
The most important laptop features are:
- 15″ (Dell) or 13″ (Mac) wide screen display
- Video port that will allow the users to connect the laptop to a projector / display
- Built-in web camera and microphone that will allow the users to do videoconferencing online
- DVD reader and burner drive
- Wi-Fi enabled
What software is available on the Dell laptops?
- Windows operating system
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Internet Explorer & Mozilla FirefoxVPN access
What software is available on the Mac laptops?
- Mac operating system
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Safari
What do I get when I borrow a laptop?
- Laptop and battery
- Mouse
- AC Power cord
- Carrying Case
- 6ft VGA & HDMI cable
- Ethernet Cable
Saving your work
- You can save your work to a USB flash drive (provided by you) or to your network space. (if connected to the TCNJ network)
